Reinventing? Yes.
Reinventing into what? Unsure.
no the wt borg is not closing!
that's wild dreaming!
they have been changing directions for a while now, and for whatever reasons, what is happening now is a part of that change!

first off, i'd like to state that i currently have "privileges" in the congregation and volunteer at bethel on and off throughout the year.
that's as much information as i will currently give about myself.. starting off, i think something big is coming in the form of lawsuits and bad pr.
they seem to be batting down the hatches in preparation for something the last few years and even more so the last few months.

I have to question the O.P. just a bit.
If the building work is done a voluntary basis, how are they running millions of dollars over budget? I understand that building materials have to be purchased, permits have to be pulled, etc. But in most construction projects, the majority of the costs go to paying the workers. The org doesn't really have that problem.
Did the org hire and outside engineering and architectural consultants to do the designing? Did the org hire larger construction firms to do the big work? Even at that, I have a hard time believing that their building deficits are "in the millions".
Am I missing something?
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/catholic-church-missing-billions-124522003.html.
catholic churches across the country have high hopes that his (the pope's) stopover will reinvigorate and offer fresh inspiration and spiritual guidance to their congregations.
but when it comes to the church's approach to receiving donations, its failure to adapt to easy online and mobile payment options means it is missing out on billions of dollars and suffering a "30-year dramatic downward slide," experts warn.
i'm wondering why ones on this forum initially became jw's.
if you were born in, why did you make it "your own"?
if you became one later, what was your draw and driving force?
there were many addressed to me.
for example, i once had a sister tell me i was gambling because i liked playing skill crane (the machine where you have to try to pick up prizes like stuffed animals) at the arcade.
i then fired back a her: "you saw the r-rated movie 'backdraft.
When I has a teenager, I was talking to this "worldly" girl. We weren't dating. It turned out that her mother worked with my uber dub elder uncle. When my uncle found out, he told my dad.
A couple of years later, I was talking to another "worldly" girl. I was not dating her either. We just hung out a few times. Guess what? My uncle worked with her mother too and told on me again!
Let's just say he is not my favorite uncle. Prick.
so i was eagerly (add sarcasm) awaiting the co visit this week.
for once because is less work being at the meeting.
i just have to sit down and listen.

I guess if you are unbeliever, the food and support you bring to the house does not count.
That would be me!

"Believe the inspired truth, not the inspired error".
That was the title of the talk? The inspired error...lol!
